As Bera Alanya, acting as data controller under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”), we would like to inform you about the personal data processed when you visit our website and contact us.

2. Personal data we process

  • Cookie and usage data: your cookie preference and, if you consent, analytics data such as pages visited, visit duration, approximate location and traffic source.
  • Contact data: your name, contact details and message when you reach us by phone, e-mail or WhatsApp.

3. Purposes

  • Keeping the website secure and available,
  • Remembering your language and cookie preferences,
  • Measuring website usage and improving our services, if you consent,
  • Answering your requests, questions and complaints,
  • Meeting our legal obligations and requests from competent authorities.

4. Collection method and legal grounds

Your data is collected automatically through the website and cookies, and partly automatically when you contact us. Necessary cookies and security logs are processed under KVKK Art. 5/2-ç (legal obligation) and 5/2-f (legitimate interest); answering your requests under Art. 5/2-c (establishment or performance of a contract) and 5/2-f; analytics cookies only on the basis of your explicit consent under Art. 5/1.

5. Transfers

Your data may be shared, limited to the purposes above, with our hosting, infrastructure and analytics providers and with legally authorised public bodies. If you consent to analytics cookies, data is transferred to Google LLC (Google Tag Manager / Google Analytics). Our providers’ servers may be located abroad; transfers abroad are made in line with KVKK Art. 9.

6. Retention

Your data is kept for as long as required by law or by the purpose of processing, and is then deleted, destroyed or anonymised. Cookie durations are listed in our Cookie Policy.

7. Your rights

Under KVKK Art. 11 you may apply to the data controller to:

  • Learn whether your personal data is processed,
  • Request information about the processing,
  • Learn the purpose of processing and whether data is used accordingly,
  • Know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom data is transferred,
  • Request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data,
  • Request deletion or destruction under the conditions of KVKK Art. 7,
  • Request that corrections, deletions or destructions be notified to the third parties data was transferred to,
  • Object to a result against you arising exclusively from automated analysis,
  • Claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.

8. How to apply

You can send your requests in writing, by registered e-mail (KEP: beraturizm@hs01.kep.tr), secure electronic or mobile signature, or from an e-mail address you have previously shared with us, to the contact details above, in line with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller. Requests are answered free of charge within thirty days at the latest; if the process involves an additional cost, the fee set by the Personal Data Protection Board may apply.
